Volcanic island. Hot, arid climate, abundant rainfall is expected. Probably covers around a hectare. There's a jungle right behind the huts, which most of us have seen already -- I wouldn't recommend going in there unequipped. You'd need something sharp to even traverse through it.

Wildlife is probable though, as is native vegetation: meat is necessary in the longterm and some of the vegetation may have medicinal properties. This island's got an inconsistent terrain due to the volcano, so there are conclaves that stretch across it...caverns. An oasis and some springs: water sources. I haven't traveled along the entire coastline, nor have I ventured near the volcano.

I know where North is from here, which is my biggest lead. It's not much. I'm working towards fixing that.
