[ Lelouch nods, and writes down Lucina and Katara's names on the side, underlining the names with an asterisked note to ask so that at least when the paper inevitably gets more messy, at least there's a key to understanding how his mind works. ]

I will leave you to broach the topic with him, then. Ideally, if having two teachers is better than one, even if he has already claimed most of this list-- [ here he taps the column with his pen ] --to teach. Honestly, I'm not entirely picky, but I've told you I'm a difficult student.

[ here he frowns, looks up and pointedly at Lief. ]

I defer to your opinion on this-- [ because he's a housecat who's just been released into the wild, he's going to be semi useless for a while rip ] --but would it be easier if the groups were rotated, or if everyone had constant partners to get used to each other?

[ taking into account that deaths are going to happen...... ]

We can store the food in one of the huts, or distribute it so that everyone looks after their own food. We'll figure that out when we see how much food we can bring in.

[ and when Lief pauses, he'll look up from whatever he's writing, just to give him a curious look. ] Ah. If it helps, when I spoke with Lucina earlier this morning, she seemed to indicate that supplies were plentiful. Much more plentiful than where she came from, in any case. [ another pause. ] I suppose they would be suggesting stockpiling and preserving some food in case of emergency?

Raven suggested not over-fishing, and planting new seeds when we can. She and Bellamy may have more ideas. We are aware, though, that not everyone may share our concerns.

[He pauses again. Honestly, while he's experienced in gathering food outdoors, he's not used to having to direct a large group of people over it.]

Perhaps we should speak to the others about what they would prefer?

[ he nods! valid points. he would have thought of these eventually, but as a city kid who was a prince and then an emperor, that's not. something that comes to mind immediately. ]

No, I suppose not, considering that for most, this would be their first time having to even find their own food. Myself included. [ a grimace.

at the very least, he and Lief are on the opposite ends of the spectrum. he's good at directing a large group of people over things, that's what he's been doing, but he knows nothing about the operations on the ground and that has to change. ]

I suppose that would be more efficient. Being able to meet everyone would allow me to best match people to ensure optimum efficiency, since I'm mostly going off first impressions here. [ and he knows better than anyone that first impressions do lie. ]

Could I trouble you to set up a group meeting? I assume you're in contact with most people.
